Growing up in a family that surrounded him with musical instruments, Robin Taylor Zander had music ingrained in him early on. Robin picked up his first guitar at age 4, when his dreams of playing live and recording his own music started taking shape.
After attending college, a move to Nashville in 2015 helped Robin hone in on his craft, writing/co-writing over a hundred songs during a 4 year span. In 2018 he started performing live, singing background vocals and playing rhythm guitar for the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame band Cheap Trick, an outfit in which his father is a founding member.
Being a singer, guitarist, pianist and even picking up the drums on occasion, has given him the ability to play on stage in front of thousands of fans over the last few years, gaining respect in the rock n roll community and beyond.
Robin sites his most diverse influences, which include: The Beatles, Robert Johnson, Beck, Elliot Smith, The Rolling Stones, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, The Who, R.Stevie Moore, David Bowie, My Morning Jacket, Jimi Hendrix, T.Rex, The Flaming Lips, and many many more (RETURN)
